Method Community Impact Group

Make time. Make a difference. Make connections. Our community. Our responsibility. Our impact.

FIND YOUR STUDENT'S RHYTHM.

The Method Community Impact Group encourages students to give back, build relationships, learn responsibility, and gain real-world experience through meaningful community service. Method students learn online, but they grow up in the world — and this is how we make sure they stay rooted in it.

Build relationships with peers

Work together, make new friends, and strengthen connections in school and in the community.

Learn responsibility

Develop strong habits, follow through on commitments, and take pride in doing your part.

Gain real-world experience

Explore your interests, build valuable skills, and prepare for future opportunities.

Earn recognition

Hit service milestones to earn your Silver and Gold pins — and a story you can be proud to tell.

Two milestones. One growing impact.

Students who hit our service milestones earn special recognition pins for their commitment and impact — and keep banking hours for college, scholarships, and graduation.

Silver Pin

25 hours

A great start. You're building relationships, learning responsibility, and making a positive impact on the people around you.

Gold Pin

50 hours

A bigger impact. You're gaining real-world experience, leading by example, and helping create a stronger community.

Service to Earn It

Want to go to Disneyland Grad Night or Method Prom? Earn it. Method high schoolers cover the cost of these signature events through approved community service hours instead of paying out of pocket.

It keeps events accessible to every family and turns "senior year fun" into something they actually built — and the hours count toward your Silver and Gold pins, too.

Earn your seat at the biggest nights of senior year.

Talk to your advisor about the current hour requirement and how to get started. Underclassmen can start banking hours early — they roll forward year to year.

Find something you care about.

Throughout the school year, Method provides students with regular community service opportunities to help earn hours and get involved. Students are also encouraged to explore volunteer opportunities on their own that match their interests, passions, and goals.

  • Tutoring & mentoring
  • Environmental projects
  • Food drives & donations
  • Animal shelters
  • Community events
  • Support for seniors & neighbors
  • Clothing drives
  • And many more!

Where Method students show up.

From check-in tables to food pantries to mobile distributions with Feeding America, our students show up wherever the work is. They learn that small jobs done well — sorted boxes, kind greetings, a long shift in the sun — add up to real impact.
